The time required to complete an RSA 21 online course depends on a number of factors. These include prior knowledge, learning pace, technical understanding and the specific course module.
The courses can be paused at any time and resumed later. Participants have plenty of time to work through and understand the course content thoroughly. There is no set time limit for completing the course.
This allows the content to be integrated flexibly into your daily work routine. Individual sections can be reviewed again or revisited at your leisure as required.
Experience shows that the average course participant takes less than 8 hours to complete a course. However, the actual time required may vary from person to person.
There will be no traditional final examination. The relevant regulations – RSA, ZTV-SA and MVAS 99 – do not require a compulsory examination for this training course.
Participants are responsible for working through the course material on their own and must ensure that they have understood the content. Upon completion of the course, they confirm that they have carefully worked through, understood and completed the training material independently.
On this basis, attendance is recorded and the relevant certificate is issued.
No. The ‘Main Roads and Motorways’ course does not automatically cover the full content of the ‘Built-up Areas and Country Roads’ course.
The course ‘Within Built-up Areas and on Country Roads’ is a standalone introductory course and a prerequisite for participation in the course ‘Main Roads and Motorways’. The course on main roads and motorways builds on these foundations and also covers the specific requirements for roadworks on main roads and motorways.
Participants should therefore first complete the basic course or be able to provide evidence that they have already done so.
Yes. RSA 21, ZTV-SA 97 and MVAS 99 are German standards governing the safety of roadworks. Our RSA courses are based on these standards and designed for use in Germany.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certificate confirming their training in the relevant course content. This certificate can be presented to clients, companies or the relevant authorities.
If you purchase 10 RSA 21 courses, you will receive an additional course free of charge.
